ABOUT THE CLUB...

Twilight Talkers
is an Auckland-based Toastmasters Club with a flair for humour and informality. We stick to the Toastmasters concept, but focus on having good fun. After all, a good meeting is a meeting with many laughs!

Twilight Talkers representatives have successfully gained the top 2 positions at the Area Humorous Contest in the last three years. In fact, this year one of our members won first prize in the Area Humorous Competition.

At Twilight Talkers, we can assure you a safe and friendly environment for you to build confidence and improve your public speaking skills. The club is fully run by clubmembers - taking up roles such as opening the meetings, picking up interesting use of English and we even have our very own in-house Wine Master. Read our latest newsletter to get an impression of our club.

THE BENEFITS...

People join or visit Twilight Talkers for the following reasons:

Quote of the day:

I am here for a purpose and that purpose is to grow into a mountain, not to shrink to a grain of sand. Henceforth will I apply ALL my efforts to become the highest mountain of all and I will strain my potential until it cries for mercy.
- Og Mandino -

To do anything truly worth doing, I must not stand back shivering and thinking of the cold and danger, but jump in with gusto and scramble through as well as I can.  - Og Mandino -
The main thing, of course, always is the fact that there is only one of you in the world, just one, and if that is not fulfilled then something has been lost.
